Hop The Yule Hall December 2022 – Friday 2nd December 2022 from 8pm until Late.

2022 is fast approaching it’s end which means all the various Swing Dance Classes and groups will come together for one final time in 2022 for the annual Hop The Yule Hall Celebration for December 2022. The event is run by the Oxford Lindy Hoppers on the first Friday of every month, and this one is a special Christmas occasion. Bring your dancing shoes along to one of the longest running and most established monthly events in the UK Swing Dance Calendar.

This is a great opportunity for Lindy Hoppers to get together in Oxford to dance and chat. If you’re new to social dancing, it is the perfect place to get out on the floor in a relaxed atmosphere or listen to some great tunes played by our local DJs and occasional live bands. It’s fun and informal.

Currently dancers are asked to bring your own water bottle. Taps are provided to fill them. There is tea and coffee provided as well as a few nibbles on the goody table.

Cashless payments only

Currently the event is cashless (please no cash) if  you pay on the door. Tickets cost £5. You can also book ahead on Dance Cloud.

Feel free to wear your favourite Christmas jumper or Santa hat and enter into the party spirit. Dressing up isn’t compulsory but definitely encouraged to add to the silliness of the occasion. We are still waiting for someone to pluck up the courage and come as a pantomime horse.  Put your best hoof forward to strut your stuff on the dance floor! Dancers are still asked to be vigilant and maintain an environment where everyone looks after each other if Covid cases start to rise again. Please take a test if you are feeling unwell to put your own and everyone else’s mind at rest.
