We run and support events & social dances throughout the year. These might be a small gathering in an informal space or a full blown evening event with live music and singers up on a stage accompanied by a huge dance floor. We also bring dance teachers in from outside the area to teach special workshops so please do keep an eye on this list as there will be plenty of things of interest that appear here.
Our flagship event is The Summertown Speakeasy which launched on 20th January 2024. The Speakeasy will run in September on the 4th Saturday of the month (to accommodate another event that clashes with on the 3rd Saturday), and then run monthly on the third Saturday. We currently have 2 special Speakeasy Live Events planned for the Dark Academia Swing Ball in on 19th October 2024 and Our New Year’s Eve Swing Party to see in the midnight chimes and welcome the New Year. Next Event
Other regular monthly events include Hop The Hall at St Margarets Hall, 30 Polstead Road, Oxford, OX2 6TN on the first Friday of The month with our friends the Oxford Lindy Hoppers.
