Summertown Swing Social Christmas Tea Dance

Oxford Swing Dance presents the Summertown Swing Social Christmas Tea Dance for 2022. It has been a year when we finally returned to dancing so come and celebrate it with us. Our DJs will be playing some great tunes as well as a few Christmas favourites with a Swing beat. You can expect some Christmas cheese in amongst the cool Jazz to bring a smile to everyone’s face and make the party Swing. St Michael’s offers a lovely dance floor to bust your best moves whilst you meet friends to chat over a cup of tea and some awesome cakes. Summertown Swing Social has rapidly become the place to be seen on a the second Sunday of the month, and is a really welcoming environment.
Just come along and pay £6 each on the door. We take cash or a contactless payment.
If you are new to dancing and thinking about taking your first steps onto the social dance floor, then this is a warm, friendly and supportive environment to do it. Recently a lot of people have been bringing the rest of the non dancing family to enjoy and we welcome everybody to come along. Join us for a great afternoon of music, dancing and cake. This Sunday is quite a busy day for dancers because later in the evening we will also be going along to theBob Cutting Big Band Christmas Dance Night. We would love it if as many dancers as possible could join us at both. Click on the link for more details. The plan is to enjoy the tea dance, then grab dinner at somewhere nearby before heading off to Drayton. It would be great if you could come along too.
