Looking ahead to Christmas there is a date for your diary on Saturday 10th December 2022 for the Saturday Swing Time! Hollywood Musicals Christmas Gala at The Curzon Centre, 43 Maxwell Rd, Beaconsfield, HP9 1RG. Tickets are £12 each.

This brings together the Beaconsfield dancers at SwingDanceUK with SwingDanceMK and Swing Dance Summertown for a night of dancing and a touch of glamour. Dressing up is definitely encouraged as we swing by the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

The doors open at 7.45pm and this is followed with a Beginners Lindy Hop Class at 8:00pm – no experience needed or partner required. Social Dancing starts at 8.30pm – 11pm as DJ Simon ‘Mr Kicks’ Selmon plays tracks from his extensive collection of Swing through the decades. There will also be a performance from SwingDanceMK.

Saturday Swing Time

There will be prizes for the best ‘Hollywood Musical’ costume with lots of scope to fire your imagination and plenty of time to get your outfit together. This is going to be a very popular event so get your names down as tickets are already selling fast. it would be great to get a Summertown contingent for this great event and as always we can arrange car shares to get everyone there and back. Come and have a chat to us on a class night or when you see us out at another event. The Swing Dance scene is all about making friends all over the country and this is a great opportunity to meet dancers, and celebrate the dance style we all love.
