The Summertown Speakeasy September 28/09/2024

Featuring Miss Lily Lovejoy singing live

Saturday September 28th 2024 from 8:00pm to 11:00pm

The Cherwell School North Site, Marston Ferry Road, Oxford, OX2 7EE

Entrance – Members £8 – Non-Members £12

The Summertown Speakeasy September 28/09/2024 returns after Summer Break but also moves to the fourth Saturday in the month. This is a change from our regular third Saturday. The reason is that the week before is the Fast Feet Festival and we didn’t want to create a clash or conflict in everyone’s diary. This is particularly true as the Fast Feet Festival is only happening across the road.

For those new to the Speakeasy, it is Oxford’s newest regular Swing Dance Social dance night and rapidly becoming the most popular of all. Join us on Saturday 28th September for music, dancing and a night of intrigue as we open the doors to our Art Deco Ballroom once more. We look forward to welcoming you for a great night out. The nights are drawing in closer and the new season is upon us. In response we are raising the bar once again to provide you with a night of dancing you will not want to miss. We invite you to join us and fill our large dance floor to bust your best moves for The Big Saturday Night Out. Tell your friends, plan your outfits and make your way to Oxford.

Problems with Sat-Nav

Apparently, there is an issue using the postcode with Sat Nav that directs you wrongly. This is due to a shared postcode. If you are using Sat Nav please ensure you enter “Cherwell School NORTH Site” on Marston Ferry Road.

Please note. If you attend our weekly Wednesday night classes, you are going to the other site on the opposite side of the road. The Summertown Speakeasy is at the North Site, not the South Site. If you go to the South site you will be on the wrong side of the road. Hopefully that wont be too confusing for everyone. We will make plenty of announcements at class to hopefully remind everyone.
