Summertown Swing Sunday Tea Dance CANCELLED 13/10/2024

Sunday Tea Dance Cancelled in October. We are very sorry to announce that the Summertown Swing Tea Dance Club originally scheduled for October 13th 2024 is now cancelled.

This is because the Oxford Half Marathon is being held on that date and access to Summertown will be almost impossible until later in the day. It is also likely that parking will be a real problem until things get moving again.

We are sorry to disappoint everyone but we think that the best thing to do is admit defeat and cancel the event.

Our next event will be the Dark Academia Swing Ball, on 19th October 2024 when we have Malcolm Earle-Smith and his Band joining us. They feature some very special guest star musicians who are a feature of the London Jazz scene. This is one you do not want to miss as they will be playing live Jazz Swing all night.

It is being held at The Summertown Speakeasy venue at The Cherwell School North Site, Marston Ferry Road, Oxford, OX2 7EE.

The music starts at 8:00pm and goes through to 11:00pm

It isn’t quite Halloween but we can promise you a spooky evening of dancing. Everyone who would like to dress up to celebrate the theme is encouraged to do so, although there is no pressure for those who don’t.
