Oxford Swing Dance continue with a program of social Sunday afternoon tea dances dances for 2023 and present the Summertown Swing Social Tea Dance for February 2023. Join us for an afternoon of music and dance.
Our DJs will be again play some great tunes to get your happy feet tapping to the Swing beat with everything from the 1920s to the 2020s. For those who enjoy a treat there will be some wonderful cake to enjoy with your tea and coffee. There will also be some savoury snacks for those who don’t have a sweet tooth. Come along and catch up with friends for a relaxed and enjoyable afternoon of music and dancing.
Summertown Swing Social has rapidly become the place to be on a the second Sunday of the month, and is a really welcoming environment. We have had people driving over from Middlesex, Bedford, Bristol and Birmingham so its also a great way to meet new people and chat whilst you dance the afternoon away. It’s a great way to meet new dancing friends and catch up with others you haven’t seen in ages. The venue has parking which makes it really convenient too.
St Michael’s offers a lovely venue to spend the afternoon with a great dance floor to bust your best moves whilst you meet with friends.
Just come along and pay £6 each on the door. We take cash or a contactless payment.
If you have been attending our swing dance classes and are thinking about taking your first steps onto the social dance floor, then this is a warm, friendly and supportive environment to do it. Recently a lot of people have been bringing the rest of the non dancing family to enjoy the afternoon and we welcome everybody to come along. Join us for a great afternoon of music, dancing chatting and cake.
