Every month, our friends The Velvet Tones present the Big Band Double Header. This is a free entry gig with donations requested and expected for a nominated charity of the night.

This month there is a real treat for you as the Abingdon Swingtime Band are The Velvet Tones guests. The nominated charity is Headway Oxfordshire. Headway support people who have experienced Brain injury and their work helps to improve quality of life. Swing Dance Summertown are proud to support this regular monthly gig and our dancers are one of the reasons why people come along with the great musicians and singers all performing their hearts out.

The music starts at 8:00pm and goes on until late.  The first set will feature The Velvet Tones with Richard and Claire as vocalists.  The Abingdon Swingtime Band will follow around 9:30pm after the break.  There is a dance floor throughout the evening, as well as a bar.
